Some people will recall the visit of the Eco-Congregation Climate Change baton to Synod in September. The baton will be coming to Righead URC on Monday 16th November. They have arranged an evening with Revd. Trevor Jamison, Environmental Chaplain to Eco-Congregation who will lead a discussion evening on Pope Francis encyclical ‘Laudato Si – Care for our Common Home’. We will also think about our own responses to climate change. The evening will begin at 7.30pm and conclude by 9pm. They would be delighted if folk form other churches in the South Link were able to join them for the evening.
