Covid Update January 2021

Given the seriousness of the current pandemic and the strong likelihood that we will not be able to return to worship for some time, the Elders’ of our three congregations met on Thursday 14th January and confirmed that the following arrangements are in place.

 

The church buildings will reopen for worship when we move into level 3 restrictions or below.

 

The weekly Sunday service will be available on the recorded worship phone line (01355 209661 or 01698 533205) The phone line will also be used for any funeral services within the pastorate, with the family’s agreement. If you would like to receive the weekly recorded service by email, please contact Revd. Lindsey Sanderson  via [email protected] or 07895 139615.

 

The following services and activities are held on Zoom and can be accessed via the internet or on the phone. If you would like to join these please contact Lindsey for login details.

 

First Tuesday of the month – Mindfulness Group @7.30pm

First Thursday of the month – Communion Service @7pm

Third Thursday of the month – social gathering @7pm

Fourth Wednesday of the month – Communion Service @2pm.

 

The members of the prayer group commit to pray for people on Wednesdays at 8pm. If you would like to submit a prayer request or join the group contact Lindsey using the details above.

 

You can also contact the South Lanarkshire Council wellbeing line on 0303 123 1009 which provides advice and support for community members who are self-isolating or vulnerable and whose usual support network is not available.
